Senior Manager Finance at Tropical General Investments (TGI) Group

Objective / Purpose of Job

• To aid managerial planning and decision making tasks by providing appropriate financial information and undertaking related accounts administration

Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure all Financial transactions are captured on Navision/SAP.
• General Ledger reconciliation.
• Account for all CAPEX related items, monitor the requisition up till capitalization stage in GL.
• Interact with internal control unit, internal audit department, tax manager, external auditors and other consultants as regards the accounting records of the company.
• Approval of purchase requisition(PR) in Navision/SAP/
• Ensure monthly balance sheet reconciliation for submission to internal control for review.
• Ensure that all suppliers invoices are fully booked before processing any voucher for payment.
• Coordinate daily finance and cashflow management.
• Ensure data are used or processed for the purpose set for such data and ensure absolute confidentiality while processing or using personal data. Get the consent of the data subject before collecting, processing, and using data.

Education / Knowledge, Skills, Attributes, Experience & Other Requirements

• Minimum of B.Sc in Finance / Accounting.
• 5 - 7 years experience in similar role.
• Relevant Professional qualification (ICAN/ACA/ACCA) is required.
• Good Knowledge of IFRS, Payables and statutory deductions
• Good data gathering, analysis, organisational and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills(including written,oral and presentation skills).
• Attention to details.
• Strong problem solving & analytical skills.
• Excellent Interpersonal skills.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft packages (word, Excel & powerpoint).
• Knowledge of Navision is a plus.
