Senior Interior Architect at Elvaridah

Job Summary

• We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Senior Interior Architect with 4+ years of professional experience to lead the design and execution of high-end residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use interior projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative design concepts, producing technical drawings and specifications, managing projects from concept to completion, and collaborating with clients, consultants, and contractors to deliver exceptional interior spaces that meet functional and aesthetic requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

• Develop innovative and functional interior design concepts that align with client requirements and project objectives.
• Prepare mood boards, space plans, design presentations, and concept proposals.
• Produce detailed interior architectural drawings, layouts, and specifications.
• Select materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories for projects.
• Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, regulations, and industry standards.

Project Management

• Lead projects from conceptualization through design development and execution.
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and consultants to ensure timely project delivery.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress to ensure adherence to design intent and quality standards.
• Resolve design and construction issues that arise during project execution.

Client Management

• Meet with clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and budgets.
• Present design concepts and provide professional recommendations.
• Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Incorporate client feedback while maintaining design integrity and project feasibility.

Technical & Documentation

• Prepare construction documentation, working drawings, and technical specifications.
• Review shop drawings and material submissions from contractors and vendors.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and assist with procurement activities.
• Ensure all project documentation is accurate and up to date.

Team Leadership

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior architects and interior designers.
• Coordinate internal design teams to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
• Foster collaboration and knowledge sharing within the design department.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Architecture, Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Professional certification or membership with relevant industry bodies is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years' experience in interior architecture, interior design, or related roles.
• Proven experience managing residential, commercial, hospitality, or corporate interior projects.
