Lead the delivery of human resource operations at the facility, ensuring effective recruitment, employee relations, performance, and HR administration in line with organisational policy and labour regulations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate end‑to‑end recruitment and onboarding for the facility, partnering with hiring managers to meet workforce needs.
Administer employee lifecycle processes (confirmation, transfers, promotions, exits) and maintain accurate personnel records.
Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes and staff welfare, in line with policy and Nigerian labour law.
Coordinate the facility’s performance management cycle, supporting managers on goal‑setting, appraisals and development plans.
Administer payroll inputs, leave, attendance and benefits in coordination with Finance and Head Office HCM.
Identify training needs and coordinate learning and development interventions for facility staff.
Ensure HR policies, procedures and statutory requirements (pension, PAYE, NHF, NSITF) are complied with.
Supervise, mentor and develop the Human Resource Officer.
Prepare HR reports and analytics (headcount, turnover, absence) for management.
Champion staff engagement and a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Human Resource Management, Industrial Relations, Social Sciences or a related field, plus completion of NYSC or a valid exemption where applicable.
Minimum of 5–7 years’ HR generalist experience, with at least 2 years at a senior or supervisory level.
