Responsibilities will include translation of the UX design wireframes and Graphic Design mock-ups to live code to deliver user-facing pages as part of the Alison platform.
You will work with the UI/UX and graphic designers on one side and back-end Developers on the other to bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
Responsibilities
Develop a smooth and intuitive FE UX experience on our global platform.
Participate in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications deployed on AWS
Work with designers and the marketing team to ensure the technical feasibility of concepts.
Create prototypes and layout of content for web, ensure responsive design in all deliveries.
Making key website changes on a regular basis.
Looking at key areas to improve and optimize our website for maximum speed and scalability.
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of UI scripting and frameworks, including Typescript and Angular.
Good understanding of CSR and SSR
Very strong HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and graphic optimisation skills.
Understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.
Familiar with web security, SEO and accessibility
Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
Experience designing/developing for mobile.
Experience using versioning tools, particularly GIT.
Knowledge of PHP and MySQL is a distinct advantage.
