Senior Chartered Accountant at Ascentech Services Limited

Job Objective

• Periodical closing of books of accounts, creation of accruals, Preparation of MIS reports and supporting Finance Controller in the day-to-day operations.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Closely working with Shared Services (SSC) to ensure that BRS and intercompany transactions are reconciled.
• Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations.
• Update accounts payable (Export) and perform reconciliations.
• Assist in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting & financial guidelines
• Assist with reviewing expenses, payroll records etc. as assigned
• Update financial data in databases to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Handful Knowledge of Withholding tax provisions applicable in Nigeria
• Experience in handling Audits (Statutory and internal)
• Assist the Finance Controller in the preparation of monthly / yearly closings and day-to-day operations.

Education Qualification

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting
• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA, ACCA).

Knowledge / Skills / Behavioural:

• Proven experience as a Commercial controller and minimum of 4 years experience in the required domain.
• ERP experience (preferably Oracle, SAP)
• Excellent Knowledge on usage of Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint & Power BI)
