Job Description
Our client is an independent energy efficiency company delivering sustainable solar power and cooling services to over 400 sites across Nigeria. As a result of growth and expansion in the business, ReelStaffing has been mandated to recruit a senior business analyst to join our dynamic team. Purpose for the role:
The senior business analyst shall be responsible for supporting the business analysis process, designed to explore the company's business model and advise on its performance and improvements. This can involve incenting new systems or revamping existing areas of the business.
The senior business analyst will manage the special project unit of the analytic team with the direct support of the team head. The role requires working knowledge and understanding of statistical computing, data science and business-savvy. This position maintains effective data collation process and churns out analytics to support the productivity and effectiveness of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Support the ownership and implementation for special analytics and projects.
• Perform several tests on key business KPIs to spot trends for improved performance.
• Support the further improvement and development of the new bundle pricing
• Project work on customer analytics and segmentation to improve the sales pipeline.
• Project work on improving company data quality, improve data flows and data protection.
• Support the development and successful implementation of the company DWH.
• Advanced analytics to predict trends, discover patterns and improve IRR model assumptions.
• Support and develop strategic and tactical operational reports on existing projects costs and power metrics for the CEO, CTO, and investors.
• Host MSExcel training and programming boot camps under the Company's analytics academy.
• Carry out other duties as assigned by CEO/Head, Analytics.
• Support in business performance and monitoring and advisory.
• Contribute to the improvement of the SS business model.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in business or related field or an MBA
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis or related field
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations
• Competency in Microsoft application including Word, Excel and Outlook
• A track record of following through on commitments
• Excellent planning, organizational and management skills
• Experience leading and developing top-performing teams
• A history of leading and supporting successful project
• Excel – Full work proficiency
• SQL – working proficiency
• Python or R programing – working proficiency
