About the job

• Billing and Revenue Operation Analyst aims at recognizing revenue accurately and making sure that leakage in revenue is reduced to the barest minimum and ensure that customers are billed accordingly in line with their contract details.

Responsibilities

• Participate in business process changes that may affect the company’s ability to identify, monitor or collect revenue (e.g., new system implementations/upgrades, new product roll outs, etc.)
• Continuously work to understand and mitigate losses to ensure the highest levels of accuracy for revenue recognition. Maintain in-depth understanding of industry trends relative to revenue assurance practices. Promote quality assurance for all processes impacting Revenue (Refreshers training on revenue input).
• Partner with Marketing, Engineering, IT, and Operations to design, develop and implement best practices to minimize revenue leakage (Contract linkage with Line tags for appropriate billing and decommissioning).
• Review CRM data inputs to ascertain accuracy.
• Perform regular reconciliation and analysis of revenue streams.
• Monitor collection processes for accuracy on Set up and once off payment-Relocation.
• Reconcile activity between network elements and billing.
• Create queries and reports to support ongoing monitoring initiatives as well as ad-hoc reports as required.
• Perform data analysis using CRM tools and advance excel.
• Understand and aggregate revenue assurance activities across the business and ensure they are working effectively.
• Analyze data/reports to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
• Compiling data for Sales Commission and Bonuses for Accounts Managers.
• Compiling data for all relevant revenue reports.
• Carry out such other activities as maybe directed by the supervisor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business related field.
• Must be a professional accountant, registered with ICAN or ACCA
• 4 years’ working experience.
• At least 2 year working experience in a related environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Display a solid understanding accounting principles and proficient with the use of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point Presentation)
