We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer to join our team. As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable and robust server-side applications and APIs that power our web and mobile applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop, and deploy server-side applications and web services using modern development frameworks and tools.
Write high-quality code that is maintainable, testable, and efficient.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and product managers to develop robust and scalable API.
Continuously monitor, optimize, and improve existing systems to ensure optimal performance and scalability.
Troubleshoot and resolve software issues and bugs.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software engineering.
Build and maintain high-performance, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems
Develop and maintain data storage and retrieval systems
Ensure the security and reliability of our backend systems
Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to optimize performance
Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering culture of continuous improvement
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience as a backend engineer
Experience with backend frameworks such as .NET, Django, Flask, or Node.js
Proficient in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, or Ruby
Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, or Redis
Experience with RESTful API design and implementation
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
