Senior Associate at Jasper Beryl Consulting

We are recruiting highly skilled and experienced Senior Associates for one of the high brow law firms in Lagos.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal advice and counsel on a wide range of legal matters especially of a commercial nature, including but not limited to contracts, regulatory compliance, family, environmental issues, and general litigation.
• Draft and review legal documents, such as contracts, leases, permits, and agreements.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support decision-making and mitigate legal risks.
• Represent the company in legal proceedings, negotiations, and mediations.

Position and Person Specifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing law in a reputable law chamber or corporate outfit with LLB, BL, and an LLM will be an added advantage.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Law, Regulations, and Industry practices.
• Well-honed litigation skills. The vacancies are strongly biased towards candidates with a rich litigation experience.
• Current on federal and state laws, Industry trends, case law, regulations, and practices affecting the firm\'s business.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Effective use of computer systems for the generation of professional reports, and scheduling
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of integrity and professional accountability
