Senior Accountant at Ohan Corporate Services

Job Description

• To ensure all financial accounting is accurate and up to date, and reconciliations of the general ledger and sub ledgers are maintained.
• Supporting the company’s commercial team - in maximizing their strategic investment for growth through performance management, decision support, developing business models, strategy formulation and putting strategy into action.

Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Prepare budget forecasts.
• Publish financial statements in time.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable.
• Ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes and prepare tax returns.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statement.

Requirements

• B.Sc / HND in Accounting and Professional Accounting qualification
• Minimum of 5 years post qualifying experience, preferably with FMCG company
• Strong accounting fundamentals and good knowledge of tax issues
• Good analytical skills and commercial awarenes
• Experience using accounting software and reporting systems
• Advanced excel skills.
• Must reside on Lagos Island
