Job Expectation Summary

• The Security Supervisor will be responsible for undertaking the surveillance of the premises and protection of lives and properties.
• The job holder will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behaviour, preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behaviours whilst also saddled with the responsibility of visiting various operational sites.

Essential Responsibilities
He will be expected to:

• Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence.
• Monitor and authorize entrance of people and vehicles in and out of the building.
• Secure all exits, doors and windows at the end of business activities.
• Investigate people for suspicious activities or company possessions.
• Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation.
• Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences.
• Be knowledgeable in monitoring CCTV footage for security purposes.

Academic Requirements

• B.Sc Degree
• An Ex-police / paramilitary or serving police who is looking to change career.
• A graduate in related field is required.
• Computer literate and understanding of CCTV is mandatory.

Skills:

• Proven experience as security officer or guard
• Knowledge of legal guidelines for area security and public safety
• Familiarity with report writing
• Excellent surveillance and observation skills
• Good communication skills
• Registered as a security officer
• Be proficiency in the use of computer.
