Security Officer at Value Edge Management Service Limited

Role Objective

• As Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of guests and team members and the security of the Lounge and property at the bar's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Essential Duties and Functions / Responsibilities / Tasks

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the working environments and conditions may vary by client
• Maintain a high level of positive and professional approach with coworkers, and Customers.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and health regulations policies.
• Reduce the opportunity for the commission of crimes through thorough, preventive patrol and high visibility of security throughout the premises on a timely schedule.
• Watch for unusual, illegal, or dangerous activities occurring on the premises.
• Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation.
• Aid, or seek aid for individuals who are in danger of physical harm or need security attention.
• Patrol all areas of the property and assist with house housekeeping if required during the shift.
• Input all written reports and activity summaries of all incidents answered during shift while adhering to company guidelines on confidentiality.
• Help assure compliance with liquor laws.
• Assist in developing and presenting security-related programs.
• Other duties as assigned are consistent with the functions of this position as will be needed at any of the properties.

Requirements

• SSCE or equivalent experience/training.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and ability to multitask.
• Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and late nights.
• Ability to work on your feet for eight hours or more.
• Minimum of 2 years or equivalent combination of education and experience; security management ideal, hospitality experience preferred.
