Monitoring and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the facility to monitor security systems, identify potential threats, and ensure safety protocols are followed.
Incident Response: Respond promptly to security incidents, including alarms, breaches, and emergencies, and provide support in crisis situations.
Reporting: Maintain accurate and detailed records of security activities, incidents, and observations. Prepare incident reports and escalate issues as necessary.
Access Control: Manage and monitor access control systems to ensure authorized personnel are granted entry and unauthorized individuals are restricted.
Collaboration: Work closely with other team members and departments to coordinate security efforts and enhance overall safety.
Training and Awareness: Participate in ongoing training to stay updated on security best practices and technologies.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, or a related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered with 5 - 7 years experience.
Experience: Previous experience in a security role is advantageous but not required for entry-level positions.
