Security Escort/Transit Coordinator at Aldelia Limited

SERVICE DIMENSIONS

• Government Security personnel: Forces (Army, MOPOLS and MOPOL drivers)
• Internal Security personnel: (security assistance).
• Logistics personnel: civilian drivers attached to security escort operation
• Liaison: Military and MOPOL commanders.
• Departments in COMPANY and COMPANY Security personnel.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / ACTIVITIES

The incumbent is required to:

• Assist the Head of Security operations PHC in security matters and deputize as Head of Security PHC, in his absence.
• Asist in Developing, maintaining and implementation of escort procedures
• Carryout security risk assessment of COMPANY facilities, Escort routes and external Facilities engaged by COMPANY.  
• Ensure proper assessment of all escort request, advise and execute in line with procedure.
• Carryout security and VPSHR induction for GSF – MOPOL and Army deployed for escort and other duties at COMPANY PHC office.
• Conduct security refresher training for internal security personnel.
• Ensure GSF posted for escort duties carryout their duty in line with company procedure and plan.
• Maximize company vehicular resources deployed for PH security operations
• Organise regular interactive sessions with GSF and drivers.
• continuously carry out Information gathering and analysis
• Ensure all security support and protective equipment is used correctly and properly accounted for.
• Conduct security Audit and investigation as may be assigned by my Hierarchy
• Assess and advise on developing critical security situations.
• Any other duties that may be assigned.

·   Provide list of activities incumbent is required to perform.

CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT

• Highly unpredictable environment, with high level of criminal activities like Kidnapping, Ambush, social disturbance and Robbery. This position helps identify and mitigate these threats to help achieve company objectives, by ensuring an environment and situation with the acceptable risk level for personnel and equipment.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

The Service holder is accountable to the HOS and other Security Hierarchy for:

 Implementation of all security procedures in line with company’s policy,

• To Cover security operations, Escorts and Missions within PHC
• The role covers all, Escorts and Missions from PHC to outside PHC - especially the South South     and South East. regions. where Land transport is principally used for Missions.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• A university Degree in relevant accredited discipline.
• Service experience in the Armed Forces, Police or other relevant security forces involving managing security/intelligence operations.
• Appreciable computer literacy.
