Scrum Master at ITEX Integrated Services Limited

ROLE SUMMARY

• The post holder will be responsible for planning and overseeing projects within the company, from the initial ideation through to completion. This role will coordinate people and processes to deliver projects on time, scope and with the desired outcomes aligned to agreed objectives.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using the Jira platform
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises and devise contingency plans.
• Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout the project life cycle.
• Build, develop, and grow any relationships vital to the success of the project.

REQUIREMENTS

• Educational Qualifications: bachelor’s degreein an disciple
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certifications is mandatory
• 3 - 7 Years experience in a similar role is mandatory
• Experience working with Software Developers is highly desirable
• Experience in the payment technology space is an added advantage
• Understanding of basic programming language is an added advantage
• Knowledge: Project Management, deep understanding of Scrum and Agile principles
• Skills: Good problem solving skills, Strategic thinking, Research skills, strong facilitation and communication skills as well as great listening and observation skills.
• Abilities: Ability to prioritize, resolve conflict, ability to pay attention to detail and to delegate effectively.
