Bachelor’s degree in Life/Pure science e.g. Microbiology, Biological Science, Human Physiology, Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Biomedical science, Physics etc
A master’s degree in relevant sciences or an MBA is essential to being considered for this role.
Must be a male between 30 – 35 years of age.
Great interpersonal, communication, writing and public speaking skills.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft office packages (Power point, word and excel)
Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team, being able to manage people with emotional maturity.
Discretion and ability to handle confidential information.
Exceptional attention to detail, adaptability, and a proactive, positive, energetic, can-do, result oriented attitude.
Proficiency in using productivity software (e.g., MS Office suite).
Key Responsibilities:
Identify and develop training and capacity building needs in technical sciences and the use of analytical equipment and protocols for clientele (public & private sector)
Manage corporate projects from concept to completion (includes budgetary preparation, equipment sourcing, installation, operation, and maintenance as well as clientele staff training)
Facilitating smooth work interaction and information flow among stakeholders (clients, colleagues, experts, and external collaborators),
Coordinate, control and supervise project execution; ensuring that project is completed within timeframe, scope, and budget.
Performs project documentation – report writing and editing of completed projects.
Conduct background research for current and proposed projects including proposal writing, concept notes and budgetary allocation.
Travel to multiple locations across Nigeria/abroad to support technical capacity building initiatives and programmes.
You would be expected to provide support to the development of a sister company set up to provide innovative scientific solutions to critical sectors in Nigeria.
Stay updated on the latest scientific analytical techniques and legal requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide expert support to clientele on major projects.
