SAP / ABAP Developer at Alan & Grant

Job Description

• As an SAP ABAP Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining SAP applications to meet business requirements.
• You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze user needs, and provide technical solutions to enhance SAP functionality.

Responsibilities

• Develop a report, program & system on the SAP system and the integration with other system
• To develop customized report based on user request
• Troubleshoot and fix report/program/database issues
• Design, develop, test, and implement ABAP programs and interfaces in alignment with SAP best practices.
• Enhance existing SAP applications to optimize performance, usability, and functionality.
• Customize SAP modules based on business requirements.
• Collaborate with functional teams to integrate SAP solutions with other enterprise applications.
• Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform debugging and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
• Develop and execute data migration scripts and programs to ensure smooth transitions during system upgrades or implementations.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of SAP applications.
• Conduct performance tuning and testing to ensure optimal system responsiveness.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for ABAP programs, reports, and interfaces.
• Document code changes, configurations, and development processes.
• Work closely with functional teams, SAP consultants, and business users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Provide technical expertise and support to end-users.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SAP/ABAP Developer with a solid understanding of SAP modules and functionality.
• Experience in full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
• Programming language: Java, VB.Net, PHP, HTML. Database: MS-SQL, MySQL
• Knowledge on SAP table and create query/programming in SAP
• Familiarity with design report query, creation of ALT report & smart form.
