    Sales Supervisor

    Salary: ₦360,000 Gross
    Reports To: Regional Sales Manager / Sales Manager

    JOB PURPOSE

    To lead, coordinate, and drive the performance of the sales team to achieve volume, distribution, and visibility targets within assigned territories. The Sales Supervisor ensures effective execution of route-to-market (RTM) strategies, builds strong trade relationships, and supports sustainable business growth in line with company objectives.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Supervise and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets.
    • Develop and implement territory sales plans to drive product availability and visibility across all channels.
    • Conduct regular market visits to monitor product performance, competitor activities, and market trends.
    • Ensure optimal stock management and prompt replenishment at distributor and retail levels.
    • Support execution of trade promotions, activations, and merchandising standards.
    • Provide coaching, training, and performance appraisal for sales representatives to improve productivity.
    • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and key retailers.
    • Prepare and submit accurate sales reports, market intelligence, and competitor analysis.
    • Enforce compliance with company policies, pricing guidelines, and ethical sales practices.
    • Coordinate with logistics, marketing, and finance teams for smooth operations.

    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • 3–5 years’ experience in FMCG field sales.
    • At least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
    • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
    • Strong understanding of distribution networks and RTM strategies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
    • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively.
