    Sales Specialist

    Job Responsibilities

    • Collect and analyze market information, customer insights, and business data to support the Regional Manager in developing market strategies and business plans.
    • Monitor market trends and customer needs, and provide recommendations for product optimization and market improvement initiatives.
    • Work closely with distributors and dealers to identify, develop, and follow up on sales opportunities within assigned territories.
    • Conduct local market research to identify and onboard potential distributor and agent partners.
    • Support and supervise distributor operations, identify operational gaps, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Assist in organizing and executing brand promotion activities, exhibitions, product launches, advertising campaigns, and other marketing initiatives.
    • Support distributor outlet development, including guidance on showroom setup, branding, and VI (Visual Identity) implementation.
    • Coordinate with internal teams on production scheduling, logistics arrangements, technical support, and resource allocation to ensure efficient business operations.
    • Maintain strong relationships with customers, distributors, and key stakeholders to enhance market penetration and customer satisfaction.

    Requirements

    • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in machinery sales, preferably within the construction or earthmoving equipment industry.
    • Good understanding of earthmoving machinery such as Wheel Loaders, Excavators, Rollers, Graders, Bulldozers, and related equipment.
    • Strong market analysis, business development, and relationship management skills.
    • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
    • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
    • Willingness to travel frequently for market visits and customer engagement.

    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
    • Customer-oriented mindset with strong commercial awareness.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
    • Experience working with dealers/distributors in the machinery or industrial sector is an added advantage.
