    Sales Representatives

    Job Summary

    • Responsible for all sales activities in assigned accounts or regions; excellent product knowledge and service delivery.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients.
    • Travels to meet with clients/schools.
    • Be creative and provide innovative ideas for product promotion and meeting the needs of customers within the company guidelines.
    • Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made.
    • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity
    • Prepare presentations, proposals and sales agreements/documentation.
    • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge.
    • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships.
    • Manage account services through quality checks and other follow-ups.
    • Identify and resolve client concerns.
    • Prepare a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals.
    • Communicate new product and service opportunities, special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate company staff.
    • Participate in marketing our titles in events such BOOKFAIRS, seminars, trade shows, NAPPS etc
    • Process orders and deliveries in a timely fashion; and follow-up on prompt payment.
    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications and Skills
    Whilst the company will provide thorough training, a successful Sales Representative candidate will have various prerequisite qualifications and skills that typically include:

    • A Degree / HND / NCE / OND in a Business-related subject such as Business Administration / Customer Service / Retail Management or Economics / Mathematics / Commerce / Communication.
    • Minimum of 1 year experience is required but qualification commonality is 'I can do attitude' with willingness to learn, embrace change and accepts challenge.
    • A strong background in sales and customer service with previous experience in retail, digital advertising and teaching is also helpful.
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Ability to sell products and services
    • Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills
    • Strong networking skills to build relationships with prospective and existing clients
    • Proficiency in using smart phones and digital technologies to enhance communication
    • Excellent knowledge of sales strategy, product demonstration and sales reports
    • Public speaking skills
    • Requires significant local knowledge and travel.
    • Requires a professional appearance and providing a positive company image to the public.

    Remuneration
    N60,000 Monthly.
