Reports to: Supervisor/Lead
Job Summary:
The role of a Sales Manager is to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. You will be responsible primarily for generating revenue through partnerships and projects. You will also be responsible for growing and maximizing the potential of the Sales team in different locations; crafting sales plans, and justifying those plans to the upper management. For a start, you will be responsible for bringing in projects primarily targeted at the commercial, hospitality, and residential industries.
Job Responsibilities:
Design and implement a strategic sales plan that increases revenue and expands the company’s customer base.
You will be responsible for growing our reach beyond the commercial, hospitality, and residential industries.
Identify emerging markets/industries in Nigeria and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
Responsible for training, objectives setting, coaching & development, performance monitoring, and growth of the sales agents across different regions.
Design a commission-based remuneration grid/matrix for the sales team.
Source for, grow and maintain a pipeline of prospects with a specific focus on corporate projects (not walk-in-customers).
Achieve overall sales targets while setting incremental targets for the agents.
Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
Partner cross-functionally with other teams to churn out project solutions at a quick turnaround time.
Job Requirement
First Degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant fields.
MBA or MSc in Marketing or other relevant fields will be an added advantage.
Minimum of 5 years experience in Sales with at least 2 years experience in the Furniture industry.
Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
Familiarity with commission-based remuneration
Possession of a sales pipeline of clients
Ability to lead and manage a remote team.
Familiarity with Google workspace (Sheets, Docs, Slides, etc)
