    What You Can Expect
    The successful incumbent will be responsible for hunting and actively supporting the  business development and sales activities for PM across all industries:  Industrial, Construction, Consumer, Transportation.Prepare and/or contribute to customer concepts and identify business development opportunities for future growth.

    Duties will include the following:

    • Actively grow the business with existing customers and identify new potential
    • Work with and support Account Manager and Technical sales support to grow PM business in West Africa.
    • Actively support the sales activities for PM Industry in West Africa.
    • Manage business development projects (market intelligence, analysis, reporting) across the various industries.
    • Contribute to the achievement of Annual Budget (Volume & Net Sales).
    • Ensure ongoing market intelligence gathering and research to identify and assess market trends and competitor activities in West Africa.
    • Promote and sell PM products to optimize market share and profit margins.
    • Assume full responsibility for all business aspects of assigned responsibility.
    • Managing relationships both internally and externally for the good of the business.
    • Adherence to and compliance with all BASF guidelines and procedures.
    • Actively represent BASF interests and act as a role model with regards to Compliance and Code of conduct, ensure adherence to legal regulations and the company’s internal guidelines, core values.

    What We Expect

    • Tertiary qualification in relevant fields, (Engineering, Chemistry, or similar degree).
    • 1 - 2 years experience in the related field.
    • Strong communication skills in English.
    • Driver’s License (Obligatory).
    • Willingness and ability to travel Locally and Internationally.
