Position Overview

• We are seeking a highly motivated, passionate, results-driven, and experienced Radio Sales Executive with strong knowledge of the media advertising market.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for driving advertising revenue by identifying new business opportunities, developing and maintaining client relationships, selling commercial airtime and advertising solutions, and achieving agreed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential advertisers, brands, organisations, agencies, and businesses.
• Market and sell commercial airtime, sponsorship opportunities, programme placements, and other advertising solutions.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
• Understand clients' marketing objectives, target audiences, and budgets, and recommend appropriate advertising solutions.
• Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and advertising packages to prospective clients.
• Negotiate with clients and close advertising deals in line with approved commercial terms.
• Work closely with the Programmes, Production, and other relevant departments to ensure the effective delivery of clients' advertising campaigns.
• Follow up on leads, proposals, negotiations, and prospective clients to maximise conversion.
• Maintain accurate records of client engagements, leads, proposals, sales activities, and closed deals.
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports detailing activities, prospects, conversions, revenue generated, and outstanding opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and identify emerging advertising opportunities within the radio and media industry.
• Consistently work towards achieving agreed sales and revenue targets.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in media sales, advertising, and marketing.
• Good knowledge and understanding of the advertising and media market.
• Demonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, sell, and close deals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
• Ability to understand client needs and develop appropriate advertising solutions.
• Strong negotiation, persuasion, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to build and maintain a strong client network.

Compensation & Performance Incentive

• Competitive salary package.
• 10% commission on eligible advertising deals secured, subject to the organisation's approved commission structure and terms.
• Commission structure may be reviewed and negotiated based on performance, deal value, and applicable organisational policies.
