As a Sales Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between the technical aspects of products or solutions and the needs of potential customers.
You will work closely with the sales team, providing technical expertise and support during the sales process.
Your primary responsibility will be to understand customer requirements, demonstrate product capabilities, and address technical inquiries to help secure successful sales transactions.

Collaborate with the sales team to create technically accurate and persuasive proposals and quotations.
Ensure proposals align with the customers technical requirements and address any potential concerns.
Provide technical assistance to the sales team throughout the sales cycle, from initial customer engagement to post-sale support.
Address customer inquiries and concerns related to the products technical aspects and capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their evolving needs and technical challenges.
Act as a trusted advisor to customers, offering insights and solutions that align with their business objectives.
Stay up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitors offerings.
Continuously enhance technical knowledge of the companys products and solutions.
Work closely with the product development and engineering teams to provide customer feedback, contribute to product improvement, and communicate technical requirements.
Assist the sales team in lead generation and qualification by providing technical input during customer interactions.
Participate in sales meetings, presentations, and trade shows to promote the companys products and services.
Requirements
Competency/Skill/Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
Proven experience (typically 2+ years) in a sales engineering or technical sales support role.
Strong technical acumen and the ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical audiences.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Customer-focused with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with clients.
Proficiency in using sales and CRM tools to manage customer interactions and opportunities.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address customer challenges with appropriate solutions.
Willingness to travel to customer sites and attend industry events as needed.
