Sales Engineer at Ascentech Services Limited

Salary: N250,000 – N350,000 gross

Job Summary

The Sales Engineer/Representative will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth by promoting and selling power solutions, including diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear. The role requires identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and providing technical sales support to customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within industrial, commercial, and utility sectors.
• Promote and sell diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear solutions to prospective clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
• Understand client power needs and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and quotations.
• Negotiate contracts and close sales to achieve assigned revenue targets.
• Work closely with technical and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support business growth.
• Prepare periodic sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ proven sales experience, preferably in power solutions or related products.
• Strong knowledge of diesel/gas generators, transformers, and switchgear.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities.
• Self-motivated, target-driven, and result-oriented.
