Sales Engineer at African Industries Group (AIG)

Job Summary

• The Sales Engineer will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying new opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting the company’s fabrication and engineering solutions.
• The role requires a strong technical background combined with commercial acumen, particularly within the oil & gas and engineering sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the oil & gas and engineering sectors
• Promote and sell fabrication, mechanical, and engineering services to clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender documents
• Interpret client requirements and provide suitable engineering solutions
• Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure project feasibility
• Negotiate contracts and close sales deals

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in a Sales Engineering role
• Mandatory: Prior experience working with an oil & gas company or an engineering company
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes and engineering services.
