Sales Associate at MacTay Consulting

A Fabric Store is recruiting an experienced Sales Associate that will be responsible for attending to customers while also implementing other business development strategies to improve sales. An ideal candidate should have prior experience in fashion. 

Working Hour: Mondays to Saturdays (9am to 6pm). One day off every other week. 

Salary Range: 60,000 to 80,000 (depending on experience) 

Job Responsibilities:

• Increasing in-store sales.
• Greeting customers and improving engagement with the merchandise.
• Delivering outstanding customer service.
• Responding to questions
• Managing cash registers, handling financial transactions, and balancing drawers.
• Accomplishing established goals.
• Leading customers to merchandise within the store.
• Outstanding product knowledge.
• Upholding an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introducing promotions and opportunities to customers.
• Cross-selling products to increase purchase amounts.

Sales Associate Requirements:

• An Associate’s degree or high school diploma.
• Retail sales experience.
• A professional appearance.
• Maintain a positive attitude and focus on customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• The ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Must be able to write in English clearly.
• Candidate must have a working knowledge of using social media for sales.
