Job Summary

• We are seeking a friendly, customer-focused Sales Assistant to join our retail pharmacy team. 
• The ideal candidate will assist customers with their purchases, handle sales transactions, maintain store cleanliness, and support stock management. 
• This role is perfect for someone passionate about customer service and retail operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner
• Provide product information and guide customers on over-the-counter (OTC) options (under pharmacist supervision)
• Process cash, card, and POS transactions accurately
• Restock shelves and ensure displays are tidy and well-organized
• Monitor product expiry dates and assist in inventory control
• Handle customer inquiries in-store, via phone, or online channels
• Keep the sales area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
• Support merchandising and promotional activities

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a B.Sc Degree
• Previous retail or customer service experience is an advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Honest, punctual, and dependable
• High attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environments.

Desirable:

• Experience working in a pharmacy or health-related retail environment Social media or basic digital sales skills
