Safety Officer at Seflam SGL Ltd

Job Purpose

To physically verify plant assets for a client and produce reports in an agreed format.

Main Accountabilities

• To provide HSE advice and support to the team.
• To monitor the team's compliance to HSE rules and policies.
• Drives the teams TBT.
• Collect permit and ensure the right permit are taken to site.
• Handle other assigned duties.

Skills

• Working knowledge of industrial HSE policies and practices e.g. PPE, PTW, Observe, Intervene and Report (check cards), Tool box meeting, LMRA.
• Strong oral and Written Communication skill

Job Requirements

• OND in Engineering
• At least 2 years’ experience in manufacturing/production.
• Recognised HSE qualification (NEBOSH or equivalent)
• Have knowledge and experience of permits and compliance
• Ability to work and make decisions independently

Job Duration

9 months with possible extension based on performance.
