Risk & Compliance Officer at Parkway Project Limited

Responsibilities

• Implementing and managing an organization’s compliance program including AML/CFT
• Monitor transactions to detect any unusual or suspicious transactions.
• Stay abreast of all CBN policies and other regulatory bodies as it relates to fin-tech.
• Implementing and managing the organization's fraud monitoring platform
• Guarantee that business processes and transactions follow all relevant legal and regulatory guidelines.
• Implementing and oversee risk-related programs
• Creating and coordinating proper reporting channels for compliance issues
• Developing company compliance communications
• Coordinating and scheduling required compliance training for employees
• Conduct compliance audits and basic operational/financial internal audits to identify, describe, quantify compliance issues, and identify opportunities for application of leading practices.
• Responsible for developing compliance programs, reviewing company policies, and advising management on possible risks.
• Engage in continuous knowledge development regarding sector’s rules, regulations, best practices, tools, techniques and performance standards
• Review and assess inherent risks within new processes and systems and make relevant recommendations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• 3 -5 years' experience in a related role (e.g. Risk & Compliance, Audit & Compliance)
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related discipline
• Experience working in a Fin-tech
• Ability to manipulate large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• Proven knowledge of Compliance standards and procedures, laws, rules and regulations
• High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
• Sound independent judgement.
