Revenue Assurance Assistant at Source Microfinance Bank

Job Description

• Collaborate with Revenue Assurance to Identify technical challenges with Remit and  deductions setup responsible for loan default 
• Collaborate with Revenue Assurance to know customers account status with Remit
• To carry out action plans from monthly credit review of delinquent loans. 
• Recovery of delinquent loans after credit review. 
• ?Daily call memo to delinquent customers through phone calls, emails, or even in-person visits to discuss repayment options. 
• Negotiate payment plans with debtors, considering their financial situation and aiming to recover the maximum amount possible. 
• To do follow with debtors who have gone missing or not reachable. 
• When necessary, liaise with legal to initiate legal proceedings to recover the debt
• Report recovery progress and rates weekly and monthly to the Risk department.
• Other duties assigned by the Head of Risk. 

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years as Revenue Assurance (Risk Unit) is essential 
• Proven data analytics skills/experience is essential to have. Should be comfortable with excel, SQL, Power BI etc 
• Experience working with remita and similar platforms, credit bureau, CBA is essential for the role 
• Previous and proven usage of Microsoft office, accounting and core banking solutions is essential for the role holder  
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills is required 
• Candidate must possess the ability to work independently and part of a team, should be a self-starter 
• Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills 
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
