    Retail Sales Manager

    REPORTS TO: National Sales Manager (NSM)

    QUALIFICATION: BA/BSc/HND

    JOB FIELD: Sales/Marketing/Retail/Business Development

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    · Supervise, train and assist the field Retail Sales team on customer management, store display and Planogram management and promotions.

    • Conduct monthly price audit, competitors’ activity reports
    • Seek ways to better promote the New Age products line’s and services in the modern Retail outlets.
    • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with retailers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals and targets.
    • Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability.
    • Maintain proper inventory levels, ensure stocking, implement purchasing plans and maintain contact with suppliers to ensure maximum efficiency in meeting sales goals.
    • Manage all controllable costs with a view to maintaining profitability, track and maintain low staff transport and delivery cost.
    • Supervision of deployment of POSM in all retail channels
    • Supervision of all branding materials deployed in assigned market
    • Build and maintain strong cross functional relationships throughout the team
    • Providing “thought leadership” to a longer term strategic plan by Category on opportunity areas of growth
    • Provide input as a key stakeholder into the sales planning forecasting process and sales planning
    • Any other duty that may be assigned by the NSM

    Reports Required:

    1. Monthly Price audit report
    2. Weekly Competitors Activity Report
    3. Monthly Distributor Incentive/performance report
    4. Monthly/Weekly call/Journey plan

    EXPERIENCE LEVEL
