Retail Operations Officer at Matrix Energy Group

Job Purpose:

The purpose of this role is to ensure the seamless coordination and execution of daily truck loading operations at the depot. The officer is responsible for submitting daily manifests, liaising with the Haulage team, monitoring ullage and liquid height checks, sealing trucks, and ensuring timely dispatch of products. This role is critical in maintaining operational efficiency, product accountability, and communication between depot and retail operations, while also supporting senior management directives as required.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

• To submit daily manifest to the Depot operation team and liaise with the Haulage team on loading.
• To ensure all nominated trucks are loaded.
• To ensure all the trucks are properly ullaged and Liquid Height carried out.
• To ensure all the trucks are properly sealed before leaving the loading depot.
• To ensure all the trucks are dispatched and a timely report is rendered.
• To communicate any loading challenges to the retail operations officer.
• To Carry out any task assign to him by the MD and other senior Retail Officers.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• OND/HND in any field
• Experience in Retail Operations will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in data analysis and reporting
• Familiar with inventory management systems.
• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
