    Retail Manager

    Job Description

    • Re-structuring RAYA Nigeria Retail to make sure that it is 100% complying with the nature of Nigeria competitive market
    • Setting Stores expansion plan for 3 Years towards being one of the top 5 players in market
    • Making clear road map to increase “RAYA Electronics Stores” Brand Equity & Market positioning
    • Starting “Rayashop” online sales & Deploying needed team and resources
    • Working with local marketing agencies to execute needed marketing activities
    • Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry, understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring what competitors are doing
    • Manage products merchandizing with different vendors to make sure of proper stock planning, creating availability of profitable SKU’s in all stores
    • Controlling stocks per branch to increase healthy product availability and avoiding stock provisions
    • Align with vendors to ensure branding criteria is meeting with offline Stores theme
    • Following up rebates and price protection compensations with different vendors
    • Increase sales as per company planned objectives, monthly budget and analyzing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits
    • Prepare the annual budget , anticipated sales, expenses, and inventories; reviews financial statements and reports for assigned areas regularly
    • Carries responsibility for setting team monthly and quarterly objectives
    • Making sure to depend on local calibers with strong monitor & control process

    Skills

    • Understanding Telecom & Retail industry
    • Very Good Strategic Thinking
    • Very Good knowledge of forecasting Demand & Supply
    • Very Good background of Online shopping
    • Very Good knowledge of products' features (mobiles and electronics)
    • Ability to fit in & perform in African culture
    • Ability to start up projects from scratch & persistence to make it successful
    • Strong Commercial Sense
    • Strong communication & negotiation skills
    • Results-oriented
    • Leadership Skills
    • Minimum of 8 years in retail operations
    • Expert in telecom retail industry
    • University graduate with a Bachelor degree in business administration is preferable
    • Leadership courses
    • Excellent spoken and written English
