    Retail Associate

    Job Description

    • The Retail Associate works to improve the organization’s market position and achieve financial growth, defines long-term organizational strategic goals, builds key customer relationships, identifies business opportunities, negotiates and closes business deals, and maintains extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
    • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising, or other means of generating interest from potential clients. Must plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.

    Responsibilities

    • Develop new sales frontiers and improve sales through various methods.
    • Collaborate with existing teams to ensure requirements are met, such as sales numbers and profit goals.
    • Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition to keep business competitive.
    • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives.
    • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
    • Increasing the value of current customers while attracting new ones.
    • Finding and developing new markets and enhancing product distribution.
    • Representing the brand at conferences, and meetings, and coordinating industry events.
    • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
    • Ensuring overall business growth through the strategic deployment of set initiatives.

    Client Retention:

    • Present new products and services and enhance existing relationships.
    • Work with other internal teams to meet customer needs.
    • Submit frequent progress reports and ensure accuracy of presented data.
    • Forecast sales revenue and profitability targets and ensure they are met.
    • Track and record activity on partner/client accounts and close deals to meet set targets.
    • Expand vendor/partner network to foster wider product distribution and sales.
    • Coordinate adhoc teams directly or indirectly related to efficient service delivery such as merchandisers and delivery agents.
    • Commit to in-depth understanding of the company’s vision and purpose with dogged follow-through on implementation

    Skills & Competencies Required

    • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent;
    • 3 years of business-to-business (B2B) and experience working with a diverse team;
    • Knowledgeable and passionate about implementation of technological advances in AI in business operations.
    • Innovative with a mindset aligned towards local dominance and global operations
    • A team player with a can-do attitude and lively demeanor.
