We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure excellence across all areas of the business.
Job Summary
The Restaurant Manager will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, leading staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining operational efficiency, and driving business growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership skills, hospitality experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Lead, supervise, and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff.
- Recruit, train, schedule, and evaluate restaurant employees.
- Ensure excellent customer service and promptly resolve customer complaints.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and service standards.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate procurement of supplies
- Control operational costs while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food safety regulations.
- Prepare and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
- Implement strategies to increase revenue and drive sales performance.
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, inventory, and staff performance.
- Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure efficient operations.
- Develop and implement promotional activities and customer engagement initiatives.
- Ensure the restaurant environment remains clean, organized, and welcoming.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of restaurant management experience, preferably in a fine dining, boutique, or upscale restaurant environment and up to 8-12 years overall hospitality/restaurant experience.
- Proven experience managing restaurant teams and operations.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and hospitality industry best practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and restaurant management software.
Preferred Requirements
- Experience managing a boutique, premium, or luxury dining establishment.
- Strong understanding of customer experience management.
- Ability to analyze business performance and implement improvement strategies.
- Experience with social media marketing and customer engagement initiatives is an advantage.
