    Restaurant Inventory Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Operational Responsibilities
    • Receive the materials supplied by vendors as per the purchase order placed by the Procurement department.
    • Check the supplies thoroughly for quality, quantity, specification, condition etc.
    • Categorise the supplies and store in the appropriate locations.
    • Take appropriate action for care and preservation of the store items.
    • Periodic stock taking, inventory reporting, stock verification and ensure correctness of stock at all times.
    • Maintain tidiness of the store.
    • Issue materials to the departments as per approved user requisitions.
    • Pass purchase invoice and other paperwork received from vendor and send this to Accountant for payment.
    • Take action for disposal of expired stock as per approved procedure.
    • Maintain all store documents up to date.
    • Generate various reports and reconciliations and submit them to concerned users.
    • Make proposals for the store policy and control improvement.
    • Receive and solve complaints about the services or products received and issued.
    • Complete daily cash reconciliation and daily cash banking.
    • Manage weekly petty cash and float.
    • Assist in the computation of monthly reports.
    • Supervise stock movement from receipts to their utilisation and ensure accuracy and completeness.
    • Develop and implement the overall store strategy.
    • Identify process bottlenecks and suggest solutions in a timely manner.
    • Follow up with external vendors and government agencies on matters affecting the store.
    • Handle refunds and exchanges in a professional manner.
    • Any other duty assigned by the line manager from time to time

    Requirement

    • Proper reporting and documentation of stock.
    • Minimum of 4years experience in a restaurant business
    • BSc in administration or relevant skills
    • Number of notable accidents which may cost the restaurant time and money.
    • Accuracy of inventory reports accurately and on-time.
    • Good Excel Skills
    • Tech Savvy
