Job Description:

Turing.com is looking for a Full Stack Engineer on behalf of an emerging start-up developing the best communication experience for the modern remote world and teams. The engineer will be responsible for creating beautiful, impactful world class software that enables millions of people to communicate better. The company aims at building a diverse, inclusive, equitable organization and has recently closed a seed round with two great firms. The selected candidate will join the team of engineers, product designers/owners, technologists and contribute to building the applications for multiple platforms. It is a full-time, long term role that requires a time overlap with central US time.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with others in a cross-functional team to deliver high-quality software

• Improve the quality and usefulness of existing features, by refactoring, decomposition, bug-fixing and preventive maintenance

• Design and develop new capabilities and enhancements

• Actively promote better software engineering principles, introducing modern techniques and new tools to drive improvements and deliver better software

• Implement the best development methodologies and standards for quality app development

• Participate in software architecture, design and development

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)

• 3-5 years of experience with React or React Native, Typescript and Java

• Experience with Electron, Storybook and GCP

• Experience in understanding large and complex code bases

• Expertise with modern product development tools and methodologies

• A high level of skill and craftsmanship in building software that stands the test of time
