The selected candidate will collaborate with dedicated engineers, patients, caregivers, and scientists to deliver engaging products leveraging world-class technology. As an engineer, you’ll be responsible for developing and maintaining the backend systems and REST frameworks. Job Responsibilities:
Create well-tested, fault-tolerant, and scalable REST-based services in Django Rest Framework (DRF)
Design and create background services that can reliably and efficiently respond to user actions
Design and implement thoughtful and extensible SQL/No-SQL models and schemas
Grow your skills and apply them to challenging and fun problems that contribute to the development of a platform that empowers users to unify and manage their health data and helps patients in need get access to cutting edge treatments
Work in a fast-paced environment with engineers who work closely with each other to tackle hard problems, share knowledge, and support each other
Collaborate with designers and implement amazing customer experiences
Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
3+ years of experience in software engineering
2+ years of back-end experience with relational databases, schema design, SQL queries, migrations, and rollbacks
Experience in PostgreSQL is a plus, but not required
Prior experience working with Django
Must have a solid understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, RESTful APIs, agile software principles, and responsive web design
Nice to have some experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, and/or GCP)
In-depth knowledge of CI/CD is preferred
Experience or exposure to NoSQL technologies and/or scalable search platforms is nice to have
Demonstrative skills with Machine Learning and/or data analytics
Experience with Docker is preferred
