    Remittance Operations Specialist

    The successful candidate will oversee the efficient processing of remittance transactions, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of funds. This role involves working closely with various internal teams, external vendors, and customers to facilitate seamless remittance operations.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the project team to ensure the timely and successful launch of the remittance application for transfers from the United Kingdom to Nigeria.
    • Assist in coordinating various operational aspects of the remittance application launch, including but not limited to regulatory compliance, banking partnerships, and customer onboarding processes.
    • Liaise with internal stakeholders such as IT, Compliance, and Customer Service departments to address any technical or operational challenges encountered during the rollout process.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential opportunities and challenges in the remittance industry, particularly in the Nigeria-UK corridor.
    • Provide ongoing support to customers and address any inquiries or issues related to the remittance application.
    • Assist in developing training materials and conducting training sessions for internal staff on the features and functionalities of the remittance application.

    Qualifications:

    • Prior experience working in the International Money Transfer Operator (IMTO) sector in Nigeria is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards governing the remittance industry in Nigeria.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
    • Proven organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
