    Relationship Manager

    Our client, a real estate and lifestyle development organization, is looking to hire a Relationship Manager will play a key role in driving the bank’s deposit mobilisation efforts by building and maintaining key relationships with high-net-worth individuals, SMEs, and corporate clients. The ideal candidate will leverage financial technology to deliver personalised banking solutions while achieving deposit and fixed-income targets.

    Responsibilities

    Business Development

    • Identify and onboard new clients with a focus on deposit mobilization and fixed-income investments.
    • Develop strategies to achieve set deposit growth targets and ensure high client retention.

    Client Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing tailored financial solutions.
    • Act as the primary contact for clients, ensuring satisfaction and addressing queries or concerns promptly.

    Product Knowledge and Sales

    • Educate clients on the bank’s deposit and fixed-income offerings, including features, benefits, and risks.
    • Upsell and cross-sell banking products based on client needs.

    Market Research and Strategy

    • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify new opportunities.
    • Provide feedback to the product development team for innovative solutions.

    Compliance and Reporting

    • Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements in client onboarding and transactions.
    • Prepare and present weekly performance reports to management.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CIBN) are an added advantage.
    • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a financial services or banking environment.
    • Proven track record of deposit mobilisation and working with high-net-worth clients.
    • Strong knowledge of banking products, especially fixed-income instruments.
    • Proficiency in leveraging technology and digital banking tools.

    Must have skills

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and market trends.
    • Sales and negotiation expertise.
