The role requires strong knowledge of obtaining regulatory approvals for products such as pesticides, herbicides, and related products with NAFDAC and other relevant regulatory bodies.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise the Regulatory Affairs team
Coordinate product registration and renewals with regulatory authorities
Review product labels and documentation to ensure compliance
Liaise with internal teams and external regulatory bodies on regulatory matters
Organize and coordinate cGMP inspections and regulatory audits
Develop and implement regulatory strategies to support business objectives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date regulatory documentation for all products
Requirements
Higher National Diploma in Food Science and Technology or related field
Minimum of 4+ years of experience in regulatory affairs or compliance
Experience with regulatory compliance and product registration processes
Strong knowledge of labeling and compliance requirements
Strong understanding of obtaining regulatory approvals for pesticides, herbicides, and related products with NAFDAC
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CorelDraw for label review
Experience coordinating regulatory inspections and audits is an added advantage
