Job Description

• As a Registered Nurse and Midwife, you will be responsible for providing both maternal and general nursing care to patients.
• You are expected to work independently while actively contributing to team goals.
• Key responsibilities include monitoring patient health, supporting labor and delivery, offering patient education, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and IV therapy.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and responses to treatment, and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Provide antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care to patients.
• Monitor the condition and progress of pregnant women during labor and delivery.
• Assist physicians and other healthcare providers with procedures and treatments, and advocate for patients’ needs and preferences.
• Document patient care activities, nursing assessments, and interventions accurately and timely in medical records and nursing documentation systems.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team, including physicians, nurses, and allied health professionals, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess RM qualifications with a minimum of 1 relevant work experience
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
