Regional Warehouse Supervisor at Biswal Limited

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the dispatch of stock from the warehouse.
• Ensure proper management of facilities acquired for distribution to various locations or returned from various locations after use.
• Plan routes and load scheduling for multi-drop deliveries.
• Negotiate rates with Local contractors and International companies.
• Ensure accountability of all equipment received or issued in the region.
• Assist project managers in the areas of material sourcing, technical support and vendor relations.
• Present consolidated weekly and monthly inventory reports to the Head, Maintenance and Management for decision making purposes.
• Provide routine management reports on logistics and inventory performance to the Head, Maintenance.
• Analyse and log purchase orders commensuration to existing stock availability and reduce shipping cost.
• Provide accurate routing information to ensure that delivery time and location are coordinated.
• Manage returns and rejections promptly with suppliers.
• Implement initiatives to reduce the overall supply chain cost.
• Liaise with the procurement department in selecting products.
• Improve operations and reduce cost by working closely with suppliers and customers.
• Support to resolve customer’s complaint.
• Manage relationship with suppliers, vendors, internal clients and partners.
• Manage suppliers, vendors, and courier agencies on all shipments and transfers
• Work closely with the HSE Manager to ensure Implementation of all Health and Safety procedures in all BISWAL’s warehouses.
• Ensures adherence to all Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Risk Policies at all warehouse facilities.
• Ensure compliance to safety procedures and techniques while performing job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
• Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting, climbing, etc.
• Ensures that warehouse is properly demarcated and goods are laid out and labelled accordingly e.g. Raw Material and Finished Goods section and within each section, different products are specifically demarcated for ease of identification and counting.
• Setup and maintain processes and controls for goods received and store issues e.g. prompt update of stock movement,
• Setup processes to manage inbound and outbound activities in the warehouse
• Ensure maintenance of files for GRN, SIN, BOM, FGTN, LRN, DN etc
• Oversee all warehousing and distribution operations in all regions.
• Ensure safe storage of assets, stock and other valuables in the region.
• Prepare a schedule for stock re-order against budgeted sales to prevent stock out.
• Ensure compliance to lay down warehouse and inventory management. system.
• Manage all monthly stock count audit report reconciliation.
• Carry out regular audits across all systems and registers to ensure full compliance.
• Produce stock monthly stock report/stock position for management decision
