    Regional Brand Manager - Hair Care

    Job Summary: 

    • We are looking for an Regional Brand Manager for the Hair Care Category for the Godrej Africa, USA & Middle East (GAUM) region. This is similar to a regional brand manager role.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for executing and managing the brand strategy initiatives and activities across the region to drive category growth.

    Overview of Role:

    • As a Regional Brand Manager, you will support and assist the Category Marketing Manager in driving the growth and success of the Hair Care category. You will work closely with the local marketing teams, sales teams, R&D, finance, supply chain and cross-functional teams to develop and implement effective strategies to drive growth and profitability.
    • This role requires an individual who is initiative-taking, proactive, and enthusiastic about the Hair Care category. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of brand management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Support the Category Marketing Manager in developing and executing the annual category marketing plan, including new product launches, promotions, and advertising campaigns.
    • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, consumer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform category strategies.
    • Work with the brand team to develop and execute brand plans, including relaunches, packaging design, product formulation, and marketing collateral.
    • Analyze and report on category performance, identifying opportunities for growth and improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain, and finance, to ensure successful execution of category initiatives.
    • Manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks effectively, ensuring deadlines are met. Develop strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Develop and implement internal marketing campaigns and promotional activities to drive brand awareness and sales growth.
    • Collaborate with sales teams to develop trade marketing initiatives and ensure brand execution in-store.
    • Manage agency relationships and oversee the development of advertising and promotional materials.
    • Conduct regular market visits to stay abreast of market trends, gather consumer insights, and monitor competitive activity.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
    • Monitor and report on brand performance, including market share, sales performance, and consumer metrics.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field.
    • 4-5+ years of relevant experience in FMCG marketing, preferably in the personal care, beauty or hair care category developing and executing brand plans.
    • Experience working in other African markets is a plus.

    Key Skills:

    • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and market dynamics in the hair care category.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
    • Strong analytical skills/problem solving skills and the ability to use data to drive decision making.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic matrix environment and manage multiple priorities.
    • Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and with external partners.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
