We are looking for a skilled and motivated Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. You will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our clients' cold-chain infrastructure.
This includes performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of refrigeration principles, a commitment to quality service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems in cold storage facilities,
warehouses, and food processing plants, adhering to established schedules and procedures.
Respond to customer service calls and diagnose refrigeration system issues over the phone or
on-site.
Repair and replace faulty refrigeration system components, ensuring proper functionality and
adherence to safety regulations.
Maintain accurate service records and document all work performed.
Assist senior technicians with complex repairs and installations (as needed).
Calibrate and adjust refrigeration controls to optimize performance and efficiency.
May provide basic training or guidance to clients on proper operation and maintenance of their
refrigeration systems.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment, following all company safety protocols.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in servicing and repairing commercial/industrial refrigeration systems.
Working knowledge of refrigeration principles, components (compressors, condensers, evaporators, etc.), and troubleshooting procedures.
Ability to use hand tools and basic refrigeration service equipment..
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Strong manual dexterity and ability to work in confined spaces.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Valid driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working within the cold-chain infrastructure industry.
Proficiency in using refrigeration diagnostic tools and software.
Experience with brazing and soldering techniques.
