    Recreational/ Event Park Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Event Coordination: Plan, schedule, and oversee recreational activities and events such as sports leagues, outdoor concerts, festivals, educational programs, and group excursions.
    • Staff Supervision: Manage and lead a team of event facilitators, park guides, and volunteers. Assign tasks and ensure adequate staffing for all activities.
    • Customer Engagement: Interact with park visitors to ensure a positive experience, gather feedback, and address any inquiries or concerns about activities or events.
    • Safety & Compliance: Ensure that all activities comply with safety regulations, park policies, and local laws. Monitor event sites for safety hazards and take corrective action when necessary.
    • Resource Management: Manage the booking and use of park facilities and equipment, ensuring proper maintenance and storage.
    • Event Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote activities and events through various channels such as social media, websites, and park bulletins.
    • Budgeting & Reporting: Assist in managing event budgets, track expenses, and provide reports on event performance, participation rates, and visitor satisfaction.
    • Partnerships & Sponsorships: Liaise with local organizations, sponsors, and vendors to support events and enhance the park\'s offerings.
    • Problem-Solving: Handle on-site issues such as visitor complaints, weather-related disruptions, or last-minute event changes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor\'s degree in Recreation, Event Management, Hospitality, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • At least 1 year of experience in event planning, recreational activities management, or a related role.
    • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple events and teams simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of safety regulations and emergency procedures.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Proficiency in scheduling software and basic computer skills.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
