This is a contract role as a Loan Recovery Officer at Renmoney, located in Lagos with on-site work flexibility. As a Loan Recovery Officer, your responsibility is to recover delinquent loan accounts by working with customers to establish repayment plans, following up on payment arrangements, and taking action to minimize company losses.
Implement Recovery strategies on all accounts in arrears by engaging the customer through the telephone, e-mails, and physical visits to demand payments on overdue accounts.
Verify information of overdue arrears and follow up with a call and physical visit
Investigate and resolve discrepancies in the customer’s payment schedule and repayment instruments.
Qualifications
Proven working experience as a Loan Recovery Officer with at least 1 year of experience
Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to identify potential risk factors and design solutions
Experience working with a Bank or Microfinance bank as a Loan Recovery Officer
Experience using standard office software, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
