    Receptionist

    Job Summary

    • A reputable company in Lekki is looking for a receptionist that can provide a positive guest experience by providing exceptional customer service and efficient front desk operations.
    • He/She will be the first point of contact for guests and visitors, responsible for greeting, checking-in, and checking-out guests, as well as addressing their inquiries and needs.
    • They will also contributes to maintaining a smooth flow of communication within the hotel and between various departments.

    Job Description

    • Greet and welcome guests upon their arrival at the hotel in a friendly and professional manner.
    • Perform guest check-in and check-out procedures accurately and efficiently, following established protocols.
    • Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to guests.
    • Handle guest requests and concerns promptly and appropriately, striving to exceed guest expectations.
    • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using the hotel's reservation system.
    • Maintain accurate records of room availability and guest accounts.
    • Process payments and manage cash transactions, ensuring accuracy and security.
    • Communication and Coordination
    • Communicate effectively with other hotel departments, such as housekeeping, maintenance, and concierge, to ensure smooth guest experiences.
    • Relay messages, packages, and information to guests and appropriate staff members.
    • Maintain a log of guest requests, incidents, and important information to ensure proper follow-up.
    • Keep the front desk area organized, neat, and presentable at all times.
    • Assist in administrative duties, such as filing, data entry, and maintaining guest records.
    • Prepare and distribute necessary reports to relevant departments.

    Requirements

    • Candidates should possess HND / B.Sc Degrees with 2 - 4 years relevant work experience.
