Quantity Surveyor at Rosettee Construction

Overview:

• We are seeking a qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Ikeja, Lagos.
• The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience and certification under the Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for construction projects.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses to determine project viability.
• Evaluate tender documents, and contracts, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Monitor project progress and financial performance, ensuring adherence to budgets and timelines.
• Provide advice on procurement strategies, cost control, and value engineering.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, variations, and final accounts.
• Collaborate with project teams to optimize project delivery and minimize costs.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying.
• Tracking changes to the design and/or subcontractors who work on the construction of the project.
• Liaising with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers, and site engineers.
• Carrying out all other tasks in the ordinary course of business that the management reasonably considers necessary or proper in the interest of the company.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in the construction industry.
• Certification from the Nigeria Institute of Quantity Surveyors (NIQS) is required.
• Proficiency in quantity surveying software and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Nigerian citizenship and residency in Lagos are mandatory
